About us.

Great jobs, two locations.
A strong healthcare system is at the heart of a thriving community. But with healthcare staff shortages worldwide, recruiting the skilled workforce needed to deliver essential services and help our growing communities flourish can be challenging.
That’s why two major health services in the Northern Mallee region of Victoria — Mildura Base Public Hospital and Mallee Track Health and Community Service — are tackling this issue head-on, with a bold and innovative recruitment campaign that aims to boost the local healthcare workforce for the long-term benefit of the community.
Both organisations provide high-quality healthcare to meet the growing needs of the communities they serve. Mildura Base Public Hospital has been servicing a part of the region since 1934 and services a population of approximately 80,000 people in Mildura and the Northern Mallee area.
Mallee Track Health and Community Service is the largest employer for health services in the region. It was established in 1997 through the integration of services and workforce across a large rural catchment covering approximately 18,000 square kilometres.
